Wednesday Evenings

For those who desire a deeper relationship with God, we have several great opportunities during our Fall quarter. Classes begin September 20th. Times for all Wednesday classes and activities is 6:30 - 8pm. Professional Childcare is available. Can't make all the classes? No problem, you're welcome to jump in and join us anytime.

AWANA (K - 6th grade) and Metalshop Youth Group (6th - 12th grade) also meet during this time on Wednesday evening. So drop off the kids and come join us in one of these engaging Adult Electives.

  • The Book of Revelation

Pastor Randy will be teaching a class on the Book of Revelation. The book of Revelation is a firsthand account of visions sent by God to John during his time on the Island of Patmos.  For many, this book of the Bible creates confusion, doubt and even elicits fear.

But for Christ followers, the book of Revelation is the most hope-filled, awe inspiring, faith confirming book in the bible.  Understanding the visions and symbols that are used in this book can open up a whole new understanding of the power, mercy and love of the Triune God.

This class will meet in the church sanctuary.

  • Life Lessons with Pastor Joe

The Believer’s life is often referred to as a “walk with God”. But is that possible given the endless list of pressures and demands life places on us every day? “Life Lessons with Pastor Joe” is a chance for us find the right balance in 4 key areas: Life – as in “Why am I here?”; Life inside the home; Life outside the home; and, Life within the Church. Each week we’ll discuss and examine how God intends for us to remain “in the world” but not “of the world”  - as well as discover practical ways to live our lives in each of these 4 core areas with a God-centered focus and God-empowered freedom.                                                                                         This class will meet in the Fellowship Hall.

  • Not a Fan

And we haven’t forgotten our older teens and young adults – “Not a Fan” – facilitated by Eli Hernandez, Jr. is perfect for them.

Twenty times in the New Testament, Jesus issued a compelling and challenging invitation: “Follow Me.”  Jesus is not interested in mere fans.  He doesn't want enthusiastic admirers.  He wants completely committed followers. This one of a kind small group study examines what it means to deny one’s self and truly follow Jesus.

This is not a conventional small group experience.  It is a cinematic journey, a series of six mini-movies, with the perspective and depth to help shape today’s believer into a first century Christ-follower.  This class will meet in the former "Kids Church" on the first floor.
